I’ve been into anime for the past nine years but never really got into film in general until the past few months. I got a membership at my local arts picturehouse because there were a few things my best friend wanted to take me to go see and I’ve now been really getting into movies as a whole. It’s also given me the opportunity to see some of my favourite anime films on the big screen which I’ve never done before. Went to see Tokyo Godfathers and Spirited Away over the holidays and I’m going to see Perfect Blue tomorrow. Ended up seeing a fair few things that came out in 2024, my favourite of which was Kneecap, and I’m hoping that at the end of this year I’ll be able to make a list of my favourite films of 2025 like I do with albums
