Classic: For the state that Ontario is in right now in terms of climate, I'm so glad that I listened to this album today. If it had been in the summer or spring, this album might not have hit me as hard. But in winter, the folkish sounds melding with a creeping black metal bustling truly makes both aspects shine. I was not expecting so much of this to be engrained in folk music and - although I far prefer black metal to folk - I'm happy to see this album focus more heavily on that aspect. My one complaint would be that some of the screaming sounds a little dry; I wish it would sound more heavy and crushing but that is a small issue with a near perfect record. A true birthday gift from my undrtone friends. @itchweed and @georgepheby recommended
